AG fired for defending constitution?
I totally forgot about whole portions of government until I was just thinking about how AG telling DOJ not to enforce this order. Sure this AG got fired but we do have two other branches of government not to mention the bureaucracy within the executive to combat unconstitutional actions. Plenty will be gotten away with, and certainly that’s the game plan, but there’s a pretty good chance not all will be lost… Well that sucks. Sorry for the downer. At least we can look on the bright side and know that these branches of government were designed to check exactly this kind of extreme action.
Maybe part of keeping society at bay is to have effective ways of disagreement. Since we’re having such a hard time on agreeing about what’s true maybe it’s necessary to have the safety net of reasoned discourse through law and order.
